A Ministry Model for Physical Healings

09/04/2001

Understanding GOD’S FAITH (and not ours)

·        The physical healing ministry is totally carried out by faith.  This faith is not our faith, but the faith that the Lord Jesus Christ living within us exerts by His rhema word.

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The RHEMA words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth (THE ABIDING FATHER) in me, he doeth the works.

·         The rhema word is a translation of the works of the Father, and carries within it God’s faith to make it come to pass.

Romans 10:8  But what saith it? The RHEMA word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the RHEMA word of faith, which we preach;

·        When the Lord desires to minister physical healing to someone, is it His work, which He initiates, and which He carries out.

Mark 11:22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in (THE GREEK CASE OF POSSESSION.) ( Have the faith of God)  God.

Gal 2:20  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith, of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  (ONCE AGAIN WE FIND THE GREEK CASE OF POSSESSION.)

·        (Greek: The life which I now live in the flesh, I live in faith, this being the faith which dwells in the Son of God.

·        It is imperative, therefore for us to know that we always minister out of God’s faith, and not ours.  Our faith rests on the faith that the Father ha exercises, knowing that His faith is perfect to accomplish what He wants.

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The RHEMA words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth (THE ABIDING FATHER) in me, he doeth the works.

·        When we obey the rhema word The Father releases His faith through us. Our faith is to rest on His faith. Our believing is our continual grip on the faith of God, until His faith accomplishes what it needs to do.

·        Our grave responsibility is to know what the faith, which the Father releases through us, contains.

·        God’s faith will always successfully accomplish all that the Father wills.  The more that we know what the Father’s faith contains, the greater will be our faith in the Father’s faith, through knowing what dwells within us.

·

Ephesians 2:8  For by grace (GOD’S LABOR)  are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph 3:7  Whereof I was made a minister (DIAKONOS), according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

·        Grace is defined as the labor of God within us.  God’s grace, or labor, is proportionally released through our faith.  The greater is our understanding of what is contained in the faith of God, the greater will be our faith in His faith, and the more that God will labor by His grace and in turn release more of His faith.

·        The Father abides in us, when we move continually in the Spirit, and live and act out of His abiding and discernable presence. To live out of God’s abiding presence is to live out of God’s faith.  Walking in the Spirit is the key for presence of the Father to become discernable with us. When out of His dwelling or abiding presence, God utters forth a Rhema word to minister to someone in healing, the rhema word describes the work that the Father desires to impart upon that individual. The Father releases His faith out of His discerned presence within us.  The greater is our discernment of His presence within us, the greater will be the release of God’s faith out of this presence through us as we minister.

Acts 3:16  And his name through ( UPON THE FOUNDATION OF) faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by (THROUGH) him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

·        Upon the foundation of faith of His name.  The Lord’s Name represents the boundaries of God’s rhema words given to us in a certain situation.  Praying out of our mind, or quoting many scriptures, or claiming and confessing while using the Lord’s name, when it is outside of the voice of the Lord is NOT PRAYING in the Lord’s Name.

John 15:7  If ye abide in me, and my RHEMA words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

·        Even the Logos word of the Lord gets its life in a specific situation through the Rhema word. When we speak in the name of the Lord, we are speaking within the limitations of what He desires and wills, as manifested by His rhema word.

·         The Name of the Lord therefore is the Lord’s faith.

·        His name through faith is His name, is our faith resting upon the foundation built by God’s faith, as He exercises it through us. Our faith in His faith, or upon the foundation of His faith, is our resting belief in what His faith contains.  All of this can only be accomplished if we abide in the Lord’s presence so that out of this presence, God can release His faith into a specific situation.  As we said, His faith resides in the rhema word, which we execute, as a translation of the Father’s work.

·        One of the greatest principles of our maintaining the Father’s discernible presence is our execution with an absolute identicalness in ministry to what the Father inwardly shows us, He wants to do.  The more exactly we minister to what the Father shows us within, the greater will be the release of God’s faith and power.  This is what it means to rest upon the foundation of faith of His name.

John 5:9Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth (To habitually glance at what the Father does in the Spirit.  This is not discernment with understanding) the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. ( Greek word “homos”  )

John 5:17  But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto ( My Father never ceases working in the Spirit) and I work.(and I work externally, using exactly the same procedures and in exactly the same manner in which I see instinctively the Father working within me.)

John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father, which hath sent me.

·                “Judging”, in the verse above is the administration of God’s kingdom in the Spirit.

                  1 John 1:1  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

·                Heard,

·                Seen with discernment,

·                Behold as a movie in a theater,

·        Acts 3:16 above then shows us that the faith, or His faith, which comes through Him, and out from us, made the man whole.

·         The abiding of the Lord, as we march step in step with the Spirit, oneness in ministry with the Lord, and the faith released through this process is what is defined as “upon the foundation of faith of His name”.

·        Let us know study what the FAITH WHICH GOD RELEASES THROUGH US CONTAINS.  Our job is to fully know and understand what God releases through His faith.  Then we can believe without doubting, and move successfully into a healing ministry, or a ministry of miracles, which takes even greater faith.

The Power that God Releases Through Us By His Faith to Accomplish His Rhema Word.

Eph  1:19  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power ( DUNAMIS) to us-ward (FUNNELED INTO) who believe ( CONTINUALLY BELIEVING) , according to the working( ENERGY PUT OUT) of his mighty ( INNER SPIRITUAL STRENGTH) power,(EXTERNAL DOMINION)

What is the throwing beyond (homerun) greatness of His dunamis power funneled into us the ones believing according to the energy that is put out as God’s inner spiritual strength is translated into His external dominion.

·        Dunamis power is the inherent power within every created being, living, and non-living.  God has His own inherent dunamis power. Disease has its own type of dunamis power. Dunamis power is what distinguishes one object from the other, and gives to its life and power.

·        20 Which he wrought (ENERGIZED) in Christ, when he raised him from the dead (CORPSE), and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

·        Which He energized (PAST TENSE) in Christ when He raised Him out of a corpse…..

·        Working in verse nineteen, and wrought in verse twenty are exactly the same root word; ENERGY; Working, is the noun, energy.  Wrought is the verb to energize.

·        The definition of God’s DUNAMIS POWER was the energy that was “put out” (in the historical event 2000 years ago), as Christ was raised up from a corpse and made to sit far above in rank, power, and physical distance over all principalities, powers, and might, dominions, and all names which are named both in heaven and upon the earth.

·        This dunamis power was once and for all energized INTO CHRIST. Because Christ lives in us, so does this DUNAMIS POWER.

·        However the living reality of this dunamis power is funneled into us, and out of us, in proportion to how fully we understand this very power that God releases by His faith to accomplish His rhema word.  The greater is our understanding of this power, the greater will be our believing without doubting, thus increasing God’s grace or labor.

21 Far above all principality (BEGINNING), and power(AUTHORITY), and might, (DUNAMIS POWER) and dominion( LORDSHIP OR BONDAGE), and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

a.     Far above in rank, power, and physical distance

b.     Every type of principalityOr the beginning of every created thing

c.      We know a principality to be an authoritative demonic being.  However, in the NT, the word principality is also used for a physical beginning, the creation of something, and the root source of something.  The dunamis power of God in Christ, and available to us, is far above in rank and power, above every root problem such as generational sins, curses, judgments, and the root causes and beginnings in diseases.  This is very important to us when we minister.  A simple knowledge of this facet of God’s power will allow us to exercise God’s power with a new level of faith.

d.     Authority Power of choice; liberty to do as one pleases; jurisdiction such as a state police has over every road within a state; the power of rule and government

e.      Authority is the power of choice; or the liberty to do as one pleases, such as the jurisdiction enjoyed by a state policeman or woman over every road and highway within the state wherein they work.  Cancer, for example has its own authority, in that it can spread at will throughout the human body. However the authority found in Christ’s dunamis power has an authority far above in rank and power over that of cancer. Dunamis power The inherent power in every created thing that defines it and gives to it its life.

f.       As we spoke earlier on, dunamis power is the inherent power exclusive, to every created thing.  Water, has an inherent power of its own, which gives to it its life, and defines it as water exclusive of any another object.  Cancer has another type of dunamis power.  God has His own dunamis power.  The dunamis or inherent power of Christ resident in us is far in rank and power above the inherent power of any other created object.  Hallelujah!  When we minister, we know that Christ’s inherent power will subordinate, subjugate and destroy the inherent power sustaining the evil that we are ministering against.

g.     Lordship- Someone or something which can bring into bondage.

h.     And every name that identifies something for what it is exclusive of anything else.

22  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

·        All these Christ subordinated and subjected under His feet.  When God gave Christ be to be head over all of these things to the church; this same power is now available to us.

·         Let us look now at another very important quality of God’s power.  1st Corinthians 15:24 teaches to us how Christ’s dunamis power subordinates and subjugates what is not of Him.

Eph 3:16  That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened (STRENGTHENED WITH DOMINATING OR SUBJUGATING STRENGTH) with might  (AS SEEN IN HIS DUNAMIS POWER)  by his Spirit in ( AS IT IS FUNNELED INTO) the inner man;

·        In order that He may give you according to the riches of His glory, dunamis power in its facet of dominion by His Spirit to be funneled into our inner man

Ephesians 6:10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power (OUTWARD DOMINION) of his might.( INNER STRENGTH)

·        Be empowered in the Lord and in the display of outward dominion as a measure of His inner residing strength.

·        The aspect of dominion as exercised by God’s dunamis power is one of the two facets of the healing ministry, in that God dominates, subjugates and renders useless the sickness into which His power goes to.

·        Every time that the Lord translates to us a work that He desires to do into His rhema word and we minister it out with identicalness to what we see in the Spirit, God releases His faith, which contains the itemized descriptions of the power that we just studied above.  Our faith rests on this release of God’s power, whether we see or feel it, or not. Our faith is to count it as being done in one instance of time.  Let us now look at an excerpt of one of our older studies on faith.

Mat 8:8  The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word ( Greek: a word)) only, and my servant shall be healed.

9  For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go (aorist), and he goeth; ( present ) and to another, Come,( present) and he cometh;( present) and to my servant, Do this (aorist), and he doeth it(present)

10  10  hen Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

q       q       The centurion had a deep understanding of the faith of Jesus, and this is what made the Lord marvel at, and honor his faith.

q       q       In verse eight of Matthew eight, we find the centurion dialoguing with Jesus and acknowledging that His rhema word spoken in regards to the sickness of his servant would result in hiscomplete healing.  The phrase “shall be healed”, is in the indicative mood.

q       q       If you can remember from our previous studies, this Greek mood describes a statement of fact, an absolute certainty, and a done deal.  The centurion is in fact relaying to Jesus that he is cognizant that the Lord’s rhema word will accomplish with absolute certainty all that it intends to do.  This is what deeply touched the Lord.

q       q       In verse nine, the centurion goes on further to describe his faith in the word of the Lord Jesus, by comparing it to his relationship with men that are under his authority.  Let us refresh our memories from past studies by including a paraphrased excerpt of the aorist tense.

q       q       The “aorist tense” in the Greek, can be compared to our “past tense” in the English. Simply speaking, it describes a past occurrence.  However, the Greek aorist tense is stronger than our English past tense.

q       q       This verb tense has the element of “punctiliar action.” This fancy word in reality means nothing more than a “punctuation” or “punctuation mark” in the succession of time.  Can you see the similarity between punctiliar and punctuation? Whenever we place a question mark, a period, and a comma as we write, we insert one mark with our pens in the sequence of time and go on with our writing. This one single event jotted down in one moment of time, is called punctiliar action.  I call the use of the aorist tense, “punctuation in time.”

q       q       The present tense describes action which is presently and continuously occurring in the hear and now i.e.; “at this very moment.”

q       q       If you would take a look at verse nine you would observe a bunch of aorist and present tenses working together.  The gist of what is happening here is the following.

q       q       The centurion has to speak the command to his men only once, as he utters it in one moment of time.  At that very same moment, in the “here and now”, his commands at once are carried out to completion.  By this explanation, the centurion is describing the operation of the rhema word of the Lord.

q       q       In every scriptural study of faith (that I can remember) the progression of faith is always the same.  The rhema word is spoken in a specific circumstance, in one moment in time.  The response to it by the circumstances that it affects, is immediate, it is always in the “here and now,” and is carried out to completion at the very instance that the rhema word was spoken out.

q       q       You would remonstrate by saying that you have likewise spoken God’s rhema word into a circumstance and have seen nothing happened.

q       q       “Mountain moving faith” is the believing of our heart, founded upon the title deed that is brought by the specific rhema word.  To have “the faith of God”, is to believe that all circumstances pertinent to the rhema word have immediately obeyed; they have acted in the here and now, and are likewise immediately accomplished, so that this title deed of faith is now secure our hearts.  Any time that we can receive a title deed of faith , God will remove every obstacle and mountain in our lives and accomplish His word.  He is the Lord who does His greatest works out of corpse like circumstances and call things into existence, which are presently non-existent.

q

1 Cor 13:2  And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains (Present Tense: one mountain after another after another), and have not charity, I am nothing.

John 3:27  John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

John 15:7  If ye abide in me, and my rhema words  abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

q       q       I must now throw out a note of caution.  Please observe with me the two verses above.

q       q        In John three and twenty-seven, John the Baptist admonishes us that a man or woman will not have the power to take something for him or herself unless the Lord has given it to them to begin with.

q       q       In John fifteen and seven the exhortation is similar.  We are only promised by the Lord to receive all that we ask for, if it is done in strict accordance to the rhema word describing God’s title deed for a particular situation.

q       q       I believe that confession is scriptural and that there is power behind it.  However, we must be very careful when we get into confession, and the “claiming and framing” of things that we selfishly desire, and which do not line up with the rhema word of God.  At best we will only get part of what we desired, and it will only be the part that lined up with the rhema word of the Spirit of God.

Mark 11:22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith(Present) in ( Have the “God kind” of faith, or the faith OF GOD!) God. (God is in the genitive Greek case of “ God possessing something”, hence His possessing faith)

23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed(Aorist), and be thou cast(Aorist) into the sea; and shall not doubt(Aorist) in his heart, but shall believe(Aorist) that those things which he saith shall come to pass(Present); he shall have whatsoever he saith.( future indicative)

24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe(present) that ye receive them(present), and ye shall have them.(future indicative)

q       q       Let’s take a look at Mark eleven twenty two through twenty-four.

q       q        Jesus commands us to have the faith of God.  Simply speaking, we know this to mean that the Lord commands us to seek for, and obtain His rhema word in every particular circumstance.  Let us take a ministry encounter where we are asked to pray for a person that is totally blind.  My rule of thumb is to always seek for, and obtain a rhema word, in every circumstance that I am required to minister in.

q       q       In this particular instance, as we wait on the Lord, in the spirit we see this person as seeing normally.  This is the rhema word of the Lord, describing His level of faith for this individual’s sight.  We can now speak into, and rebuke the mountain of blindness with all authority, and know that the effect of our rebuke is immediate and permanent.  We command the blindness to be removed and planted in hell.  We must believe in our hearts that our orders have been presently and immediately carried out, and the blindness at once is presently removed.

q       q       The Lord tells us in verse twenty-three that whatsoever we say shall come to pass.  The “come to pass” is in the future indicative.  The indicative mood tells us that without a shadow of a doubt the person will see normally.  It is a done deal.  The future tense is in God’s hands.  Whether the Lord desires to restore the person’s sight in the next one second of the future or twenty years later, He has His own plans and reasons.  Our responsibility is to keep the level and the content of God’s title deed in our heart as long as it takes, and regard it as a done deal.  Mountains are not always removed in one second.  I can guarantee you; this qualityof faith based upon the rhema word of God will remove every obstacle from the way and bring every last thing promised by the word of God to us.

John 6:37  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

·         Our knowledge of this facet of God’s power is our resting upon His faith, so that when we pray for an individual we automatically can believe that the laying on of our hands and prayers automatically dominates, subjugates and destroys every type of sickness and disease.

The Authority that God Releases Through Us By His Faith to Accomplish His Rhema Word.

Mat 10:1 ¶ And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power authority (Absolute power of choice over demons, disease and sickness; total liberty to do as one pleases with every demon, disease, and sickness; full jurisdiction such as a state police has over every road and highway within a state; the power of rule and government). against unclean spirits, to cast them out (drive them out, send out, expel, compel to depart, and drive away by force; all in a continual basis)  and to heal all manner( Every type ) of sickness( disease) and all manner (Every type) of disease( infirmity, disability and bodily weakness)

Matthew 28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power  is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

i.       Jesus spoke to them saying, it has been given to Me every type of authority (Absolute power of choice; total liberty to do as one pleases; full jurisdiction such as a state police has over every road and highway within a state; the power of rule and government) in the world of heaven, and upon the earth.

Luke 4:36  And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

j.        What type of word is this?  Because in the world of authority (Absolute power of choice; total liberty to do as one pleases; full jurisdiction such as a state police has over every road and highway within a state; the power of rule and government) and God’s inherent dunamis power, which is greater than the inherent power in the unclean spirits, (He with a word,) militarily commands them, and they come out by their own means.  (In that the word had adversely affected them)

Luke 9:1 ¶ Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

k.      He gave them once and for all the inherent power of God (mightier than the inherent power resident within any evil thin and containing all the properties found in Eph 1:21) and the authority (Absolute power of choice; total liberty to do as one pleases; full jurisdiction such as a state police has over every road and highway within a state; the power of rule and government) (to use God’s dunamis power effectively over every other evil inherent dunamis power) upon the demons and diseases and sicknesses in order to heal them in the present tense.

Luke 10:19  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

l.       Lo, I presently give to you the authority (Absolute power of choice; total liberty to do as one pleases; full jurisdiction such as a state police has over every road and highway within a state; the power of rule and government) to continually trample upon serpents and scorpions and crush them with your feet, and upon all the inherent dunamis power that gives to the enemy his life, and makes him into what he is; and absolutely nothing, in any wise, will hurt you (as to cause you to suffer spiritually).

The Energy that God Releases Through Us By His Faith to Accomplish His Rhema Word.

1 Cor 15:24  Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

·         Jesus will give the kingdom to God and the Father only when He shall have rendered non operational and totally ineffective (as and old car with an old engine, that finally breaks down and ceases to function any more and must be junked) every type of principalities and roots sources of all evils, all authorities which are not from God, and every type of inherent power that gives life and function to every type of evil.

·        God by His dunamis power dominates, subjugates and renders non-operational, or broken down, and junks, all that is not of Him.

·        By that same dunamis power God renders fully effective, functional and operational the works of His kingdom through us. Where the energy of God found in His dunamis power subjugates and dominates and junks what is not of Him, that same energy takes the invisible works of the kingdom, transfers or energizes them through us, and makes them fully operational and effective to accomplish what He wants to in our visible world.

·        1 Corinthians 12:6  And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh ( ENERGIZES) all in all.(ALL ASPECTS WITHIN EVERY OBJECT IN HIS CREATION)

·         This is called an operation as found in 1Corinthians 12: 6, or a working as found in 1 Corinthians 12:10. Every charismatic gift, and miracle-working ministry, is defined as operations that God always fully and effectively energizes in order through us to make them fully viable and operational in the natural world. Identicalness in ministry to what we see in our Spirits is one of the main keys.

1 Corinthians 12:6  And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh ( ENERGIZES) all in all.(ALL ASPECTS WITHIN EVERY OBJECT IN HIS CREATION)

·        An OPERATION is a work of God which is one hundred and eight degrees opposed to the working in God as to when HE CAUSES SOMETHING TO BECOME SUBJUGATED, NON OPERATIONAL AND NON WORKING SO THAT IT MUST BE JUNKED!!)(  This is the second aspect of God’s power).

·         If we know this fully when we minister, our faith will always make every rhema word of God to become fully operational in the person to which we minister. God fully energizes His operations in every aspect of every person into which His rhema word is ministered to.

1 Corinthians 12:10  To another the working ( OPERATION) of miracles ( DUNAMIS POWER (plural); to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

·        God’s dunamis power at the same time makes totally effective and fully operational the things that belong to His kingdom.  These are called “operations” or “workings’.

1 Cor 12:11  But all these worketh ( ENERGIZES) that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing (DISTRIBUTING) to every man severally as he will (COUNSELS ).

·        All of these things continually energizes the one and the same Spirit dividing separately to each as He counsels.  The energizing of the operation of God is in proportion to how closely we minister to the counsel of God.

Eph 1:11
